February Collective Beauty Haul

I thought I can stop buying beauty products this month but I did some damage again.
Maybe in March, I will try to curb down abit more since from what I remember Sephora will have their black card sale on April. I will save money in March and go crazy in April.hahah.

My beauty haul are not only from Sephora, but also in Carousell and Watsons.
They are some products that I used everyday and I have to get some and there are some products I really wanna try. But this is such a huge haul so hopefully my bill this month is not that high. :x #problemsofashopaholic

So here my haul for this month! too much if you ask me.

Watson is having sale right now and I really need to restock on my deodorants (I thought so but I opened my drawer and I still actually have 2 more bottles. -.-)
But anyway, this is the Nivea deodorants in Whitening body shave and extra white & firm. $4.90 each. (Right now, they have a promo of buy 2 get 1 free.)
I actually like this deodorant more than other brands as the whitening thing they are actually marketing, really works.
When I first bought this, I actually just wanted to try it since they were having a promotion that time of buying 1 big bottle and getting a travel size one for free. so i bought it and never really thought of the whitening effect as I always feel it is a marketing gimmick and never really work.
BUT THIS DOES. I REALLY NOTICE IT AFTER MAYBE A MONTH OR 2 USING IT.
So i recommend you to try it. I used to have dark armpits (TMI hahaha) cos of shaving but this really works okay!

I've also gotten the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 20 Sand Sable and 25 Medium Moyen
Color 20 is more yellow tone and lighter and 25 is more pink tone and darker.
both of this shades doesnt match me alone as one is too light and one is too dark for my skin tone. -.-
So i  usually combined it under my eyes. It is very lightweight so it is only good for dark circles but not for concealing pimples.it does not do much of covering for that.
It is not available here in Watsons Singapore but it is available online like Carousell ($9) or Qoo10.
Carousell is a little bit cheaper.

So here are the swatches!

i gotten some mini lipsticks from Carousell since I have been wanting to try out their formula for these 2 lipsticks before committing to a full size one.
I have bought Burberry Lip Velvet in Nude Apricot and Marc Jacobs Lip Creme in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I wanted to try Infamous but I swatched it in Sephora and it's like a dupe for Nars Anna and I have that lipstick so I decided to buy the kiss kiss bang bang instead.

I have tried the burberry one but not yet for the marc jacobs. The burberry lipstick is very comfortable on the lips comparing to my Nars Audacious Lipstick but color payoff wise I like the NARS more. It does not last long on the lips once I drink or eat so I dont like it as much overall.

Swatch Marc Jacobs (Kiss kiss bag bang): LEFT - more pinkish
Burberry (Nude Apricot): Right - more brownish

Too Faced Love Flush in I will Always Love You ($40).
I sold my blush palette and I bought this instead as I was only using 1 color in my blush palette and it is so bulky and I bought a similar color to the one I was using.
I am quite abit sad though, I think I have only use it 3x and as you can see, the design of the blush is almost gone. ):
Mind you all the prices in Sephora has increased price. ): this used to be $37.
First impression:I like it alot. it gives a natural color on my skin but since Im not that fair, I have to apply abit more so the color would show.

1) Urban Decay All Nighter Make up Spray ($48)
I bought the small one first and I really like it alot. It really does prolong your makeup. Like really long. Since I was using my 10% off in Sephora, I decided to get it again in the bigger version even though my small one has not been used up. >.< I know it's gonna be soon, like 2 more weeks so it's better to stock up and get the discount right?

2) Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Lotion (240ml) ($42)
I bought this as I have a friend who gives me discount for this products.
Truthfully speaking, i hate the smell. I dont know it has any effect on my skin but i hate this product at all. I am just finishing it and for sure wont be repurchasing it at all.

3) Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar Refreshing and Refining Moisturizer ($62)
Again,my friend has helped buy this product to try.
It has the same scent as the lotion but less overpowering.
It is also a gel consistency which i really love and it's glides and absorbs easily with my skin.
So as of now, i really enjoy using this product

4) Biore Make up Remover Wipes ($13.80)

Clarins Travel Size Skin Care Items ($25)
Gotten it quite cheap from Carousell, will do a review in my empties.
I bought this to try out the HydroQuench Mask and Gel as I am interested on purchasing the full size items soon once I  have finished my current full size skin care items.

First Aid Beauty (FAB FAVES TO GO) ($50)
Sephora.sg is selling it SGD56, dont know why there is a price discrepancy so it's better to buy it in stores.
I have been curious what is the hype of FAB that everyone is raving about in youtube so decided to try it.
I am also watching this youtuber: BeautyWithEmilyFox She does great lip swatches and she raves the products of this brand so decided to try it during my trip next month since it is in travel size.
It has the face cleanser, facial radiance pads and the ultra repair cream
I think i wont be using the ultra repair cream on my face as I have already opened it and I feel the consistency is super thick and I dont think my face would absorb it all. Like the Clinique Moisturizer (i hate that moisturizer alot! It gave me Millia) so I would be using it as a night lotion.

So that's all for my haul.I think it is too much for a month's supply. I will posting my empties very soon! so watch out for that! :D

January Empties

I think January was a good month, I was able to clear a lot of skincare products and 1 make up product. I'm trying to clear a lot of my beauty stuff as I have alot of items lying around.
(I'm sorry if the photos didnt turn out great as I am still in the process of getting Photoshop etc)
So let's start!

I have used up
  1. Maybelline Make up Remover for Eye & Lip  -  I have been actually using this quite a few times already but I always bought the smaller one in Watsons. It only cost $2! This one was given to me for free during the career talk by the company. I really like this a lot cos it really removes waterproof make up especially mascara. It removes them well! However, if you do not shake it well enough, it will leave a very greasy residue. I will repurchase it again when I dont have any make up remover to try on.
  2. Kose Sekkisei Emulsion ($86) - This is actually a moisturizer. Japanese and Korean products call their moisturizer - emulsion. This is actually quite a good moisturizer if you find cream moisturizer thick. I used to use cream ones and it was so thick on my skin that it will clog my pores and break out. ): So this was quite good. If you are looking for heavy moistuirizing, i won't recommend this. I would repurchase this again because I really like it is lightweight and it can be used daily and it really gives you the right amount of moisturizer it needs. But right now I would like to try new products.
  3. Kose Sekkisei Clarifying Essence ($44) - This product is a daily exfoliating gel. It is said to be part of the cleansing routine. So you have to use it after you have wash your face. It is before the toner. This is one of my holy grail products. I always repurchase this. This is should be my 5th bottle already. However, i do find it a little bit pricey for a 75ml bottle and I usually finish a bottle within 1-1.5 months.

  1.  Lush Christingle -  I gotten this product with one of their gift sets during christmas. it is a body conditioner so it is basically a lotion but used in a shower. I do find it very moisturizing product and it has a tingly sensation whenever i used it. I do find this tub to be small as I will use it for my whole body and i think i only got 3 use for this. What I dont like about this product is that after applying it, your whole body would be very very oily or greasy feeling. It feels like I didnt shower at all. So I don't think I would purchase any body conditioner anytime soon.

  1.  Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue ($50, i think ) - this is the only make up item I have used up. I realised make up is so hard to finished! haha. this is a very lightweight tinted moisturizer. I like it a lot cos even though it is only tinted, the color payoff is quite good. I actually still do have abit left and I put it in a jar. The amount was at the end of the tube so when you squeeze it, it will spurt out alot of product! I would definitely repurchase this again but I would like to try new items plus I have a brand new Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in my stash! ><
  2. Caudalie Hand Cream ($13) - I use hand cream like water! and I like to buy small tubes so it can fit in my purse easily. I like this handcream alot. It has a non-overpowering scent to it and it is really very moisturizing. You know some handcream, don't even moisturize at all and this is really good. I would repurchase this again once I finished up all my hand cream! I do have a lot cos I asked everyone to buy me handcreams for Christmas! #beingpractical
  3. Fresh Rose Mask (deluxe size) - The mask was okay. It has a rose scent to it. The scent was not over-powering like their toner. This is pleasant to use but I dont think I might repurchase it again in a full size tub as I find $90+ does not justify for this mask. It is good but I find there are better masks out there.
  4. Sephora Mud Mask (purifying & mattifying) ($26) - Everyone in youtube was comparing this to the glamglow mask and the price was like 1/3 of the mask. I loved the glamglow mask (black) and $92 was a little bit too pricey for me as I am only a student. So I decided to try this one out. I like the glamglow mask as it has this exfoliating function and it really helps to brighten my skin. For the sephora one, it does not have it at all but everything what the glamglow does, it also serve it well. The sephora one also does not have the burning sensation like the glamglow which is good! I really like the mask a lot as It has a lot of use for me and it really helps with removing oil from my skin when my face is super oily( i have combination skin). I would definitely repurchase this again. However, I would like to try new clay mask and maybe do a comparison for all the masks I have tried.

  1. Body Shop Shower Gel in Mango - Last one, this is okay. I used it only for the sake of finishing it. I dont really like using mango scent when I am showering as the scent is quite heavy so I feel like it has a sticky feeling but it does not. do you get what i mean? haha.

So that's all for my empties! I would now recycle these items at Origins counters! :)
